Cookie Notice

1. The short version
The cheetahos.app website does not set any cookies. It stores one item in your browser's local storage, described below, so it does not ask you the same survey question twice. We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, retargeting tags, social media trackers or session replay, and we do not track you across other websites. Because of that, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
This notice also covers the cookies the Cheetah OS application (app.cheetahos.app) needs to keep Users signed in and secure. For how we handle personal information generally, see our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and scripts that read information from your device. The rules in this notice apply to all of them.

Bot protection
The website's demo request uses a hidden form field that people never fill in, together with the rate limiting described below, to block automated bots. It does not use a third-party bot protection service or cookie. To contact us, the website gives you our email address rather than a web form. Some steps inside the Cheetah OS application, such as sign-in and signing an agreement, use Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a check in your browser using signals such as browser characteristics and your IP address to tell people from automated bots. It is used only for security and is not used by us for advertising or tracking.
Rate limiting
To stop abuse of our forms and chat, we store a salted hash of your IP address on our servers for a short time. This is not a cookie and is not stored on your device.
4. Global Privacy Control and browser controls
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Because we do not sell or share personal information or run targeted advertising, the site works the same way for you either way.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, our forms may not submit and you will not be able to sign in to Cheetah OS.
5. UK and EU visitors
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you request, or for security, do not require consent. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 also allows certain first-party analytics used only to improve a website without consent, provided visitors get clear information and a simple, free way to object. We do not use any analytics today. If we ever add analytics that rely on that exemption, we will update this notice first, explain the purpose, and give you an easy way to object. EU rules are stricter, and most analytics require consent from EU visitors.
6. Our commitment before adding any non-essential cookie
Before we add any cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary, including analytics, advertising, chat recording or session replay tools, we will:
- update this notice and our Privacy Policy;
- add a consent tool that blocks those technologies until you choose to accept them, with a "Reject" option as easy to use as "Accept" (or, for UK exempt analytics only, a clear notice and a simple way to object); and
- continue to honor Global Privacy Control.
